Fees and Processing
Processing: Processing of NPD is integrated with Overarching Sourcing Package and Supplier reports. Detailed process integration is explained below.
- NPD is a long process and is time-consuming, there are lots of follow-ups and communications that happens while approaching & finding potential suppliers.
- It takes 2 to 3 weeks for suppliers to provide costing & product development possibilities, followed by prototype or sample development.
- Based on the costing and prototype provided by the supplier, one supplier is finalized and further negotiation happens.
- The final but not the end stage of NPD is contract sign-off and the start of mass production.
Fees : For NPD we charge an extra $100 (with supplier reports) and $200 (with Overarching sourcing service). Payment breakdown at various stages of NPD is explained below.
- Initial NPD & sourcing request is free until we find suppliers and product development possibility confirmation from at least 2 – 3 suppliers.
- Once we receive confirmation from the supplier, we charge a sum of $50 as initial fees from our client to further coordinate with suppliers on product costing & negotiation.
- For supplier reports, the remaining payment is charged after the sample/prototype is developed and the contract is signed off.
- For Overarching sourcing service, as per the payment terms mentioned in our quotation.
Process Integration
NPD is a part of sourcing, with the two types of sourcing processes for our clients. Hence, we have integrated NPD with these two processes Overarching Sourcing Service & Supplier reports are explained below in detail. The sourcing process remains the same in addition to the new product development process.

- 1 man day inspection by our qualified quality control team member.
- Factory inspection report; production line, factory evaluation & company legal verification.

Sample or Prototype development
- Manufacturer or supplier develops a sample or prototype as per the agreement.
- We check the sample functionality and quality, and discuss with client for any change or modification.
- In case of any modification, we communicate with factory to apply the changes.
- After modification (if any), testing is done on the factory floor.
- After successful product testing, the sample is further send to client for approval (as per client needs).

- Final per unit cost is determined after sample development.
- Manufacturer or the factory shares final unit price, with lead time & MOQs.
- Pricing, payment terms & delivery terms are negotiated if client requires.

Legal contract sign-off
- NDA for IP protection is signed off by the factory.
- Legal contract is signed by both parties for annual sales commitment.
- PO with product price, payment & delivery terms is shared by client to the factory.
